A local independent newspaper and website, the City Weekly, was able to catch up with our buddies and do a spotlight on DieMonsterDie. It has an interview with the illustrious Zero Delorian, lead singer and guitarist of the band. However, you will definitely see Shane Diablo doing what he does best… and if you look very closely and don’t blink, you’ll even catch a glimpse of yours truly.

Summer’s Dead Festival in Salt Lake City
June 13th, 2010 - 0 Comment(s)

Every once in a while, something comes along that you know is just going to be awesome… I mean, something that goes on your calendar and you look forward to it every day wishing time would just move faster.
Well, here is one of those things. The Cadaver Lab have become proud sponsors of the Summer’s Dead Festival. The Summer’s Dead Festival is going to be a collection of Horror Punk, Metal, Psychobilly, and Punk bands from all over the United States.
The show takes place on Friday August 27 and Saturday August 28th at Burt’s Tiki Lounge (located at 726 S State St in Salt Lake City). Headlining the show will be Salt Lake City’s own Die Monster Die, who will play a set on both nights of the festival.
There are still many weeks until the festival but already there are a handful of bands who have committed to playing the festival:
The price for each night will be $10 and there will be no pre-sales of tickets, so get your asses there early! One last thing… we have confirmation that Die Monster Die will be providing some free drinks! What a bunch of nice dudes!
One last thing… make sure to “like” them on Facebook and continually visit their official website for updates!

Short Stack with Mike and Sam!
December 21st, 2009 - 0 Comment(s)
It’s no secret that we here at the Cadaver Lab love Shawn Gabborin. First of all, he’s an awesome dude, and secondly, he’s a talented story writer and progenitor of Angry Gnome Comics! Angry Gnome Comics is an indie comic company with all original stories and artwork.
One of their most recent releases is the Short Stack Vol 5. If you’re asking yourself what pancakes have to do with comics, let me have Angry Gnome to explain what their definition of a Short Stack is:
1 Writer. 13 Artists. 2 Pages each. Angry Gnome
Comics is proud to present Short Stack! A
collection of 13 Two Page Gory Stories sure to
make you look twice at that shadow on the wall!
Monsters, Demons, Slashers and flat out screwed
up people are just a few of the terrors awaiting
you inside each issue of Short Stack!
With Short Stack Volume 5, there is actually some extra Cadaver Lab goodness! The cover story entitled The Duel actually star your humble hosts of the Cadaver Lab Podcast! We are so excited and honored to be a part, however small, of Angry Gnome! To celebrate this awesome occasion, we’re going to be giving away 5 copies of Short Stack vol 5 autographed by Shawn Gabborin himself!
However, since you’re going to want to keep your signed copy in perfect condition and it’s impossible to get the Short Stack and not get your grubby hands on it as you read it over and over, you’re going to want to get another copy… the comic is only $3 and kicks ass! So, get on it and go get your copy HERE!
BTW, miss the interview that I did with Shawn? It’s available in our Episode 39.
