Back in Full Force!
January 27th, 2010 - 0 Comment(s)
Just wanted to give everyone the heads up that production for the next episode is in full force! The movies have been watched, the comics have been read, and the dick-joke cheat-sheet has been taken off the shelf and has been dusted off.
Recording started tonight on a few segments. Contributors have already sent in their segments, notes are being taken, and preparations are in place for recording this Thursday and Friday!
Just as a little heads-up, Episode 49’s topic is going to be about Celebrity A-Listers who got their start in horror. The episode will be out this weekend and promises to be excellent!
Cadaver Trax: The People Under the Stairs
January 2nd, 2010 - 0 Comment(s)

As Ferguson, who is huddled by his fireplace in a nutsack-freezing mountain town nestled somewhere in the Wasatch mountains, is putting the final touches on December’s CTX, From Dusk Till Dawn, he has given us the word as to what the next CTX will be.
Starring Marsellus Wallace and some kid that was in a movie that had Michael Jackson turning into a spaceship, who then blasted his way back to his home planet (you don’t really think he’s dead… do you?); The People under the stairs tells the story of a young woman’s journey of sexual self-discovery in the prairie while at odds and the puritanical lifestyle of the townsfolk and the lack of any eligible males (except for the kid who had the jumpiest frog in Calivarous County. Wait… That was Little House on the Prairie… This movie is just like Little House except for instead of Michael Landon, the father figure is played by the creepy dude who was the werewolf in The Silver Bullet…
Anyway, watch The People Under the Stairs while recording your thoughts. Send the audio file that you have created to ferguson@cadaverlab.com… or use a service such as the one found at sendspace.com (or email mike@cadaverlab.com if you need help).
This CTX is due January 31, 2010!
Thanks For Switching Feeds!
December 18th, 2009 - 0 Comment(s)
For those of you who have listened to Episode 47 of the show, you know that starting now we’re going to be changing our feed address. This means that we need everybody to subscribe all over again. I realize that is kind of annoying, but Sam and I are tired of dealing with limited disk space and bandwidth and have chosen to switch to a service where we won’t be encumbered with that anymore.
To subscribe to the new feed, click on the RSS or iTunes images in the right margin. If you need any help with anything, please don’t hesitate to email me at mike@cadaverlab.com for help.
Thanks to everyone who has already switched, and for those who will switch! I know this is a pain, but we appreciate your patience!

Cadaver Trax 4: From Dusk Till Dawn
November 22nd, 2009 - 0 Comment(s)
Now that Tamara CTX is available and Zombi 2 CTX is being put together AS WE SPEAK, it is time to announce the next CTX…
Dust off your Clooney impressions and make sure to wear your baggy drawers (if you know what I mean), because the next CTX is going to be Dusk Till Dawn. Directed by Robert Rodriguez and starring George Clooney, Harvey Keitel, Quentin Tarantino, and Juliette Lewis, this 1996 film features Criminals vs. Vampires… I would say that I want the vampires to win because these vamps happen to all be stacked.
As usual, make sure to record your commentary and get your audio to Ferguson at ferguson@cadaverlab.com…
Your tracks will be due on December 19th! GET ON IT!
Updates on Die Monster Die!
October 12th, 2009 - 0 Comment(s)
With the Halloween season being here, it seems appropriate that Die Monster Die would be in high-demand! Well, it just so happens that they are!
They’ve got a couple of shows upcoming this month, including a show on Halloween Night. Also, with their new album on the horizon, I decided that I would check with them to get an update on the progress.
Giallo!
October 1st, 2009 - 0 Comment(s)
We just got done wrapping up Episode 42 of the Cadaver Lab Podcast! During the episode we decided to dedicate our next show to the Giallo film. Neither of us are experts in the subject, so we’re calling on you guys to help us out.
We need to know your top 3 favorite Giallo films. We want to focus on films that are standouts and define the genre. The only film that we’re definitely not going to include is Deep Red by Argento… only because we did that film in our “Horror in the Public Domain” episode.
Comment here, on the forums, Twitter, Facebook, or email us at feedback@cadaverlab.com… We’d really appreciate it!
How Fitting!
September 20th, 2009 - 0 Comment(s)
Our good buddy Rhino created another piece of art dedicated to Sammy. This one, however is especially fitting since we’re planning on doing a Cannibal-themed episode next. We’re going to be discussing Cannibal Ferox, Grim Love, and Cannibal Holocaust.
Wish us luck!

DieMonsterDie: Graveyard Shock n’ Roll from Salt Lake City
August 12th, 2009 - 0 Comment(s)

As I was searching the net for some horror-related topics, I stumbled upon a horror-rock band named DieMonsterDie. The great thing is that they are from right here in Salt Lake City! A light bulb went on in my head with the flashing words: Examiner Article!
I got in touch with one of the band members and he was willing to send over some music and answer some questions for me! I was very stoked to find these guys and I have been listening to their music practically non-stop since I found them.
Do me a couple of favors:
- Head over to The Examiner and check out my article
- Head over to DieMonsterDie’s official site. There you will find some hand-picked tracks for your listening pleasure. That’s all it took for me, now I’m a fan of their work.
As an added bonus (aren’t I such a great dude? What’s that? I’m a douche? Yeah… you’re right) here is a music video of theirs:
