So when a dude is raised from the dead after being dead for 4 days, its a party right? Well not really - no one stopped to think about what this dude would look like, smell like, or act like. Leonid Andreyev wrote about what happened after the miracle in a very dark short story written in 1906 called Lazarus.
Go check out my review at the Examiner HERE and let me know what you think. I will be reviewing several short stories from the book Zombies: Encounters with the Hungry Dead by John Skipp. There are some great stories in there if you are looking for some quick creepy reading.
This episode Sam and Mike pick a topic that is long overdue. Some people say that the idea of the werewolf is a metaphor for the duality of man and that each of us have our wild side that can not be tamed. Others think that the lycanthropy is an allegory for puberty… Either way, it makes a kick-ass monster featured in countless horror films.
Unfortunately we don’t have enough time to discuss all werewolf films. However, we feel like we picked three pretty kick-ass flicks to talk about: Silver Bullet, The Howling, and An American Werewolf in London. We also play some tunes that have werewolves as their central theme.
As for the music on this episode, we play a couple of selections from Dr. Cyclops Records, a selection from Jeff Crazy’s band: The Browns, and finish it off with Type O Negative.
Now that Tamara CTX is available and Zombi 2 CTX is being put together AS WE SPEAK, it is time to announce the next CTX…
Dust off your Clooney impressions and make sure to wear your baggy drawers (if you know what I mean), because the next CTX is going to be Dusk Till Dawn. Directed by Robert Rodriguez and starring George Clooney, Harvey Keitel, Quentin Tarantino, and Juliette Lewis, this 1996 film features Criminals vs. Vampires… I would say that I want the vampires to win because these vamps happen to all be stacked.
As usual, make sure to record your commentary and get your audio to Ferguson at ferguson@cadaverlab.com…

You may be asking yourself, why would I want to go see an alien-related sci-fi thriller dealing with alien abductions and Milla Jovovich doesn’t even get probed. Well, the answer is… well, I did a review for the Examiner on The Fourth Kind, which gets released tomorrow nationwide.
Like any movie, there was the good, there was the bad, but unlike most films, there was the deceptive in this flick.
I’ve been following Johnny’s Kreuger Nation over on YouTube for quite a while. He always has tons of great horror movie reviews and discussions… Recently I asked him if I could post some of his videos up here, and he was good enough to allow me to do so. Check it out:
